Location: DartfordSalary: £38,000.00 + bonus and benefitsSummary:An experienced and meticulous Stock Control Manager is required to oversee a team of 6 in a busy NDC in Dartford. Responsible for managing the inventory accuracy, PI counts and day to day stock variances while working closely with the Warehouse Layout and Optimisation Manager to optimise stock storage and picking performance.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, motivate and develop a stock team ensuring a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency in operations
  • Oversee perpetual inventory counting and the resolution of any discrepancies
  • Report on any stock variances
  • Work closely with other Managers to improve receiving, picking performance and replenishment efficiency.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance stock control operations
  • Provide detailed reports
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards

Experience:

  • Previous experience in stock control or inventory management gained from a warehouse or distribution centre environment
  • Strong leadership skills and able to manage multiple teams across different shifts
  • Proficient in WMS and ERP systems with advanced MS excel
  • Strong knowledge of PI counting processes and stock auditing
  • Excellent organisational, problem solving and communication skills.
