Job Summary for Head of Operations:

Key Responsibilities for Head of Operations:
- Oversee and manage all day-to-day operations within the multi-utility sector, ensuring the successful delivery of infrastructure projects and services to the residential, commercial, industrial, and renewable clients.
- Work closely with the senior leadership team to develop and implement operational strategies, ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals and business objectives.
- Lead large-scale utility projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality and safety standards. Manage risk and troubleshoot any issues that arise during project delivery.
- Continuously assess and improve operational processes, implementing best practices to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
- Build, lead, and inspire a high-performance operations team, focusing on developing talent and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Ensure that all operations comply with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and internal policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees and clients.
- Foster strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and delivering tailored multi-utility solutions that meet their needs.
- Oversee operational budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-effective measures while maintaining quality and service standards.
- Provide regular updates to the senior leadership team and stakeholders, highlighting key operational metrics, challenges, and successes.
Key Skills and Competencies for Head of Operations:
- Minimum of 5-10 years in senior operations management roles within the utility, construction, or infrastructure sectors, with a focus on multi-utility services (electricity, gas, water, telecom).
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive performance improvements, and deliver high-quality operational results.
- Strong background in overseeing large-scale, complex projects from initiation through to successful completion.
- A track record of identifying and implementing process improvements to increase operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance client satisfaction.
- In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, compliance standards, and health and safety practices.
- Experience managing operational budgets, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and implement cost-saving measures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and resolve operational challenges with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
