Your time will be split between Project managing the works won as contracts manager, ensuring a smooth handover from winning the job, to job completion.
You will be the main point of contact for engineers and be available to answer any technical questions when required.
Your responsibilities will include:
- To be a QS for the NICEIC Registration & Complete Annual Assessments
- To quote & win works
- To ensure projects run smoothly, and within budget
- To assist with all certification & QS Certificates
- To assist with ongoing training & development with Staff
- To assist with Testing Procedures
- Complete calibration of testing equipment
- Assist with Health & Safety Procedures and ensuring compliance
- To assist with site procedures, and ensure staff follow correct procedures
Key Essential Requirements:
- Full UK Driving License
- 18th Edition of BS7671
- Competent in Testing & Inspection
- Level 3 NVQ
- Must have own tools
- Minimum 7 years' experience as an Electrician/Electrical Supervisor
- Project Management Experience
Preferred Requirements:
- ECS Card
- SMSTS
- Level 4 Award in Design and verification of Electrical Installations
- Inspection & Testing 2391 qualification or equivalent
- Experience of being a QS (Qualified Supervisor)
