Leading main contractor seeks an Estimator or, Quantity Surveyor with experience of producing estimates, and electrical knowledge to join their team in Dartford. This permanent position offers the opportunity to work within the airport, construction, and rail sectors, providing key estimating services for temporary M&E installation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing detailed cost estimates for temporary M&E installation work
- Working closely with the Senior Estimator and two other estimators
- Conducting cost analysis and financial reporting
- Utilising strong Excel skills to develop accurate and comprehensive estimates
- Ensuring all electrical components are accurately estimated and included
- Maintaining clear communication with project teams and stakeholders
- Preparing tender documentation and supporting the bid process
Job Requirements:
- Experience in estimating within the electrical sector
- Proficiency in using Excel for estimation purposes
- Understanding of temporary M&E installation work
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Highly organised with attention to detail
