Insurance Broker Manager

Darwen

Up to £40k basic

Monday - Thursday 9am - 5pm

Friday 9am - 4.30pm

Southam Selections are currently working with a small Independent Insurance Brokers based in Darwin who a looking for an experienced Account Handler who wants to step up into a managerial role and progress within the insurance industry. As a company they deal with Commercial, Haulage and Motor Fleet Insurance.

The role will include a split of Account Handling and Management.

The Insurance Broker Manager role

Duties of the Insurance Broker Manager role include;

  • Handling incoming enquires
  • Reporting into the company Director
  • Arranging new policies, renewals and mid-term adjustments
  • Preparing reports, insurance documents and presentations
  • Arranging renewal and new business meetings for the branch director
  • Managing the claims process
  • Maintain client records and data
  • Negotiate with underwriters to ensure the best coverage, price and level of cover
  • Build and maintain relationships with insurers and customers
  • Assist with upskilling staff
  • Conducting Audits
  • Completing compliance work
  • Producing reports for the directors
  • Managing workloads
