Job Summary
Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a large family owned in the Blackburn area who are currently recruiting for a Payroll & Benefits Partner due to maternity cover to join their team. They provide a top class and unique working environment, work from home opportunity and great discounts!
Key Duties/Tasks:

- Technical skills including relevant payroll systems experience & excel skills
- Support the busy payroll department high volume starters and leavers
- Experience dealing with multiple payrolls of varying shift patterns
- Must have very strong Excel (VLookUps/Pivot Tables)
- High volume and fast paced role
- Provide comprehensive advice to employees in relation to payroll queries
- Ensuring all necessary payments are made within the deadlines set, for example Reconciliations.
- Manual calculations
- Experience of T & A system useful
- Experience of bureau/client payroll useful
- iTrent system ideally
Desirable skills and attributes:
- Previous payroll experience in a fast paced and high-volume environment
- A keen eye for detail
- Enjoy working within a team
- Excellent communicator as you will be answering queries
- CIPP advantageous not essential
- Bureau experience very helpful

Normal working hours are 37.5 hours per week, 9:00am to 5.30pm with 1-hour unpaid break.
