Quality Inspector - CSWIP Welding Inspector

12month contract position.

Dedicated engineering services for the food and beverage, automotive and aerospace industries, the company has tailored specialist engineering solutions to many of the world's largest manufacturers. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Inspector - CSWIP Welding Inspector to join the Mechanical Engineering Team supporting major process pipework and plant installation projects across the UK.

Duties
As a suitably experienced and qualified CSWIP Welding Inspector - Quality Inspector you will be working at the company's modern, well equipped workshop on Daventry, Northamptonshire. With responsibility to oversee the piping and welding activities in accordance with inspection and test plans, to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. This will include implementing the company's audit systems particularly document control, risk management, control of records and quality control procedures. Other duties will include maintaining welder qualifications, issuing weld procedures and providing technical support for welding activities.

About You
Based ideally in Northamptonshire or Oxfordshire you will need to live within a commutable distance of NN11 4HB.
Demonstrable experience of inspecting pipe system welds within an industrial or petro chemical environment is essential for this contract.

Qualifications:
CSWIP Welding Inspector 3.1 is essential

Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI/MT) Level 1 or 2 would be advantageous.
