Buyer - Northampton - up to 43,000 + Benefits - Ref 1856
I am currently recruiting for a Buyer to work for an engineering manufacturing organisation based in the Northamptonshire. Salary up to 43,000 + Benefits.
To support the growth of the business they now have the need to appoint a Buyer on a permanent basis.
You will be joining my client at an important phase of their ongoing growth, and as such this position would suit an experienced Buyer looking to take the next step in their engineering career. You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day orderbook management. You will develop and manage working relationships with suppliers and secure the on-time delivery of material.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years working in a similar role
- Experience working within either a manufacturing or engineering industry
- Experience in purchasing, supply chain, materials control & logistics
- Ability to understand ERP and MRP systems
- Communicate and influence both internally & externally at all levels.
