We're looking for a dedicated and patient 1:1 Autism Support Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school team and work closely with a pupil who has Autism, helping them thrive both academically and socially.



What you'll do:

  • Provide one-to-one support for a child with Autism, adapting strategies to meet their individual needs.

  • Assist with learning activities, emotional regulation, and social interaction.

  • Work alongside the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support.

  • Help create a calm, structured, and positive learning environment.

  • Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP reviews and support plans.



What we're looking for:

  • Experience working with children with Autism and/or SEND.

  • A calm, nurturing, and empathetic approach.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Resilience, patience, and a genuine passion for inclusive education.

  • CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent related to education or SEND.
