An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a forward-thinking Risk Management Team as a Type 1 Fire Risk Assessor.

The Fire Risk Assessor's Role
As a Type 1 Fire Risk Assessor, you'll conduct comprehensive fire risk assessments, provide expert fire safety advice to clients, and contribute to fire consultancy projects.
Your role will involve working closely with clients, supporting quality assurance efforts, and occasionally delivering bespoke fire safety training sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Type 1 Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) in line with regulations
- Provide clear and actionable fire safety advice to clients
- Assist in fire consultancy projects, including bespoke works, compartmentation, and intrusive surveys (training provided as needed)
- Review and ensure the quality of FRA reports in collaboration with the QA Supervisor
- Deliver on-site and online fire safety training courses tailored to client needs
- Build strong client relationships and maintain effective communication with the Head of Fire Risk Management
- Contribute to business growth by delivering high-quality services, securing new business, and generating revenue through FRAs, quality assurance, and training
The Ideal Fire Risk Assessor
- Proven experience delivering Type 1 Fire Risk Assessments
- Strong communication skills and confidence in client-facing interactions
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Solid knowledge of fire safety regulations and best practices
