Are you a passionate and creative Performing Arts Teacher looking for a new opportunity? We are currently seeking a dynamic teacher to join a vibrant and engaging mixed secondary school in the heart of Deal on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on students' learning and development in the Performing Arts Department.
Role Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a broad, balanced, relevant, and differentiated curriculum in Performing Arts to a range of students. You will be expected to support the ongoing development of the department and contribute to the school’s ethos and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons across Performing Arts disciplines.
- Implement a curriculum that is appropriately differentiated to meet the needs of all students.
- Set high expectations for student achievements and behaviour to ensure all students reach their full potential.
- Contribute to the values and ethos of the school, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with the Performing Arts Department to continue developing and enhancing the curriculum.
Who We're Looking For:
- A qualified Teacher or Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a passion for Performing Arts and a strong commitment to student development.
- A proactive and enthusiastic educator with excellent interpersonal skills.
- An outstanding classroom practitioner who sets high expectations and creates a stimulating learning environment.
- Someone who is adaptable and dedicated to planning and delivering a curriculum that inspires students and supports their achievements.
