We are seeking dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistants to join Prospero and support our Primary and Secondary schools in Canterbury / Deal. As an integral part of our inclusive educational environment, you will play a crucial role in providing support to students with SEN, ensuring they have the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities of a SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Provide one-to-one support and assistance to students with SEN, both inside and outside the classroom.
Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement personalised learning strategies.
Support students with activities of daily living, personal care, and mobility, as required.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and participation.

Requirements of a SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND is required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting the needs of students with SEN.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A positive and proactive attitude towards overcoming challenges and adapting to the needs of individual students.
Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support are advantageous but not essential.
