We are recruiting for are a leading workwear clothing brand operating in the B2B market who have a great opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant.
Duties:
- Supporting in the preparation of the monthly accounts.
- Preparation of board reports and analysis to the monthly management accounts
- Supporting balance sheet reconciliations
- Monthly accounting reconciliations - control accounts/ intercompany accounts
- Analysing variances and working with budget holders to take mitigating action as necessary
- Tax compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local/ European market, requirements, regulations and tax issues
- Build and maintain relationships with bank, auditors, tax advisors and HMRC
- Assist with the delivery and implementation of costs effective and efficient accounting and financial systems, policies and processes that meet the current and future business requirements of the business
Qualifications / Experience required:
- A recognised professional accounting qualification (either ACA, ACCA or ACMA) is preferred
- At least 3-5 years in a Management Accounting role
- High attention to detail
- Strong I.T. skills, in particular knowledge of the operation and administration of accounting systems
