Role Overview:As a Temporary Works Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the implementation, management, and control of temporary works within an construction project. You will be responsible for ensuring that all temporary structures and systems are safely designed, installed, and maintained in compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the project management team to develop temporary works designs and solutions that meet project requirements.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and local authorities, to obtain necessary approvals and permits for temporary works activities.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure that all temporary works are constructed and operated in accordance with approved designs and safety standards.
  • Monitor and assess potential risks associated with temporary works and implement appropriate control measures.
  • Maintain accurate records of all temporary works activities, including design calculations, inspections, and incident reports.
  • Promote a strong safety culture among the project team and subcontractors, emphasizing the importance of adhering to temporary works procedures and guidelines.
  • Provide guidance and support to site personnel regarding temporary works, ensuring they are adequately trained and informed about safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with the Health and Safety team to ensure that all temporary works activities align with the company's health and safety policies.
