Manpower Engineering are seeking an experienced Level 5 Rigger for a 5-month project in Deeside, working on the installation of a new build Papermill, this project is starting on 20th January 2025

You will be working the installation of a new build Paper Mill

The ideal candidate will possess advanced rigging skills, have a Level 5 Rigging Certificate and CSCS card and have a strong understanding of safety protocols. This role requires expertise in handling complex rigging tasks and ensuring the safe and efficient movement of heavy loads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use advanced rigging techniques,
  • Assess loads, plan lifting operations, and determine appropriate rigging methods
  • Inspect and maintain rigging equipment for safety compliance
  • Implement safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and lead safety briefings
  • Oversee and execute complex lifting operations with precision and efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in rigging, with a strong knowledge of advanced rigging systems
  • Ability to perform load calculations and plan intricate lift operations
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations
  • Proven track record of working with a variety of rigging equipment and machinery

Hours of work

10 hours per day Monday to Friday 7am - 6pm (1 hour break)
Saturday working is optional 7am - 1pm
