Job Title: Procurement Director - Technology Manufacturing Location: Deeside Salary: Competitive (拢拢拢)Industry: Technology ManufacturingOur client is looking for a new Procurement Director to join their rapidly growing technology manufacturing team. Their products are distributed worldwide and used by most on a day-to-day basis. This senior leader will manage Procurement, focusing on supply chain strategy, cost reduction, timely deliveries, and building strong supplier relationships.Procurement Director Job Responsibilities: 路Lead the Procurement function, stepping up from the current head role.路Use ERP-based forecasting to ensure accurate and timely supply.路Make daily buying decisions based on orderbook, run rate, and sales forecasts.路Optimise supply chain strategy to enhance quality, price, and supply security.路Strategically purchase stock to meet business demand.路Continuously review and adjust MRP assumptions and methods.路Proactively identify and resolve supply chain or internal process issues.路Analyse and improve purchasing practices and strategies.路Build strong supplier relationships for cost-effective, efficient supply.路Collaborate with supply chain and operational teams to address shortages and ensure seamless transitions in supply issues.路Take full ownership of company purchases and joint responsibility for OTIF performance.路Occasionally expected to travel to visit suppliers.Procurement Director Required Attributes: 路Proven, evident history within strategic purchasing. 路Experience in contract negotiation. 路Solid ERP/MRP processes and systems. 路Experience within Technology manufacturing/ assembly is essential. 路Well versed in CIPS, tooling, capacity and varying prices is desirable.
