ICTUK is a leading tissue manufacturer committed to delivering outstanding quality products and services to our customers. As we expand with a new state-of-the-art facility in Deeside, we are seeking a dedicated QC Inspector to join our team. This role is crucial in maintaining and developing our quality policy, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and leading continuous improvement initiatives that protect consumer safety and satisfaction.

Role Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of converting lines, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished products.
  • Monitor adherence to quality control plans for finished products, outsourced products, and competitors' benchmarks.
  • Gather samples for visual and analytical evaluation, including commercial presentation, external analyses, and archiving.
  • Engage in 5S activities and audits to maintain organised and efficient workspaces
  • Check certificates of analysis, ensure adherence to analytical control plans, and manage non-conformities.
  • Adhere to all internal safety rules and proactively report any hazardous situations to prevent accidents.

Required Knowledge / Experience

  • Previous experience working within a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong Communication Skills as well as a genuine passion for quality
  • High attention to detail and accuracy

Desired Knowledge and Skills

  • An Understanding of quality management systems
  • Ideally would have some experience using SAP

Working hours:

  • This role will be a shift-based position however during the start-up period you will likely be working on days.
