Are you an efficient and detail orientated Finance Assistant who is is looking to join an expanding finance team? My client is looking for a motivated and experience Finance Assistant to join their exisiting team. You will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing transactions and assist reporting. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly management information packs for the leadership team
  • Process and reconcile invoices, payments, and expenses
  • Posting of bank transactions and preparation of bank reconciliations
  • Maintenance of the fixed asset register and posting of depreciation
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Working with external auditors during the annual audit to provide all information required in a timely and accurate manner as well as assisting in finalising statutory accounts.
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance team as required

Skills and experience required:

  • Minimum of 1 years' experience in a finance or accounting role (Essential)
  • AAT Qualified (Desirable)
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and practices (Essential)
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly excel
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, problem-solving attitude.
