Description

  • Producing accurate financial statements and management accounts in line with IFRS/UK GAAP standards.
  • Leading the preparation for year-end audits and liaising with external auditors.
  • Collaborating with key business stakeholders to drive process improvements and financial efficiencies.
  • Supporting the finance team with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Contributing to ad hoc financial projects and supporting senior management with key decision-making.

Profile

  • This role is designed for a driven and ambitious first-time mover from practice, ideally from a Big 4 or Top 10 firm. To thrive in this environment, you should have:

    • A solid background in audit with exposure to a variety of clients and industries.
    • ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
    • Strong technical accounting skills with a focus on IFRS and UK GAAP.
    • A proactive attitude, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for continuous improvement.
