Axon Moore are excited to be partnered with a high growth Private Equity backed Manufacturing business within the East Midlands, in sourcing a high calibre Financial Controller to work with the well renowned CFO. Our client have continued YOY growth under PE ownership and are expanding both at home and the US both organically and via acquisition. As Financial Controller you will be number 2 to the CFO and responsible for ensuring a fit for purpose finance function during a period of transformation. You will be a true business partner to operations including sales and product whilst managing and developing a growing team or full and part qualified team members. The Role
  • Ensuring a fit for purpose finance function in line with business growth
  • Supporting the eventual PE exit 
  • Business partnering operations including sales and product
  • Leading the annual audit process
  • Managing and developing a medium sized team across transactional finance
  • Preparing monthly board packs including commentary 
  • Reporting under IFRS 
  • Leading the budgeting and forecasting processes alongside the CFO
The Person
  • Qualified Accountant, ideally practice trained
  • Strong technical accounting skills
  • Comfortable engaging senior leadership and partnering with non-finance
  • Leadership qualities, able to lead and develop a junior team
  • Experience within manufacturing is a must
  • Ambitious, keen to learn and progress
