This is a brilliant opportunity to join a listed business with big growth plans as a Group Management Accountant. It’s a broad, hands-on role working from their newly refurbished Head Office (with hybrid working), where you'll take ownership of the Group management accounts process, drive improvements, and get stuck into a range of exciting projects across the business.

But what really stands out here? The team.

You’d be hard pressed to find a more welcoming, knowledgeable, and down-to-earth bunch. The leadership team are genuinely brilliant—experienced, approachable, and keen to get people involved in the right things to develop and progress. There’s a real balance between structure and autonomy, and they’re big on empowering people to make decisions, suggest improvements, and shape how things are done. It’s a team-first culture where your opinion is valued and listened to.

What’s in it for you?

  • Clear progression path – with exciting growth plans, you'll have the chance to step into new projects and take on more responsibility quickly
  • Project variety – from process improvement to systems upgrades, change management and acquisition accounting – there’s loads to get stuck into
  • Flexible hybrid model – two days in the office (which is super modern, with some cool perks like great coffee, breakout spaces, and onsite parking), with flexible hours to fit around your life
  • Great package – £55,000 – £65,000 + share options, matched pension, enhanced parental leave & sick pay, life assurance, 34 days holiday (+ buy/sell scheme)
  • Learning & development – whether it's formal training, lunch & learns or professional subscriptions, they’ll back your growth
  • A voice that matters – you’ll be encouraged to contribute ideas and challenge the norm – no red tape or top-down mindset here

The role itself

You’ll report to the Group Financial Controller and work closely with senior stakeholders across the business. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Owning the Group management accounts consolidation process and ensuring accurate, timely reporting
  • Managing the Group’s accounting system and supporting upgrades or changes
  • Cashflow management, monthly reconciliations, and intercompany recharges
  • Identifying areas for process improvement and helping embed better controls
  • Training and supporting junior members of the team
  • Supporting onboarding of new entities post-acquisition
  • Engaging in ad hoc projects across finance and operations

What we’re looking for:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • Previous experience in a Group function, with knowledge of a consolidation process
  • Confident working with systems and large volumes of data
  • A continuous improvement mindset – someone who likes making things better
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
