Our client is seeking a Part Qualified Management Accountant to join their finance team in Derby. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual who is working towards their ACCA, CIMA or ACA Qualification.
They are a highly successful business in the Manufacturing industry and are looking for someone to join on a permanent basis.
The successful Part Qualified Management Accountant will be reporting into the Financial Controller.
Description
Management Accountant Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Supporting in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports
- Maintain and reconcile key accounts
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with cost analysis and control
- Support internal and external audits
Profile
The successful Management Accountant:
- Part Qualified in CIMA, ACCA or ACA (actively studying)
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Proficient in finance software
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Able to commute to Derby
