Job Title: Machine Operator

Workchain is currently seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our client in Derby on a permanent basis, the contract is a temporary to permanent, 12 weeks.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Machine Operatorworking in a busy workshop, preparing materials from the machine shop for processing.
The role will be working Monday to Friday, day shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring that the quality of the product being produced is in line with customer expectations
Ensuring that the product matches the client brief
Working within Health and Safety standards within the production department
Quality control
Candidates will also have an excellent knowledge of timber types, joinery machinery including tools, sanders, moulders and saws and be able to work in a fast paced production environment.
Technical training will be provided for the right candidate including production, manufacturing and client specifications.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, early finish Fridays and overtime available during busy periods.
The starting salary is 16.00 per hour, with excellent company benefits.
Previous experience of working in a fast paced manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
