SF Recruitment is seeking a Business Development Executive to join a key client of ours based in Derby. This role, reporting to the Internal Sales and Service Manager, involves all aspects of internal sales and business development, with a focus on driving growth and building strong customer relationships. This is perfect for someone who currently maybe working in internal sales, cold calling or account management and looking for an exciting new role. Alternatively, if you have call centre experience and are used to high volume cold calling, upselling or outbound selling this could be a great new opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional service to maximize sales potential with new and prospective customers.
  • Proactively engage with low or non-spending accounts to rejuvenate business.
  • Follow up on quotations promptly to ensure conversion to sales orders, aiming to meet targets for quote conversion, sales turnover, and gross margin contribution.
  • Enter sales orders into the system immediately upon receipt to ensure timely processing.
  • Coordinate payment methods and delivery arrangements for all received orders.
  • Schedule visits from sales/technical representatives as requested by customers.
  • Regularly contact dormant or low-spending accounts to understand and address any issues.
