Growth Director, Growth Manager - Digital Agency (Hybrid Role - Derby) £45k-£60k - OTE £20k comms+ uncapped

Location: Hybrid - Up to 2 days per week in Derby office

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a rapidly growing digital agency seeking a Growth Director / Head of Growth / Growth Manager to join their team and lead their next phase of expansion. This is a leadership focused role and we are looking for a strategic and ambitious sales professional with experience in Marketing Strategy, SEO, PPC, and Web Development.

As the agency refines its Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), they need a sales leader to drive high value opportunities and long term partnerships.

The Growth Director will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, whilst working closely with the delivery team to craft tailored solutions and proposals for leading brands. This role offers the potential to grow into a leadership position, with the opportunity to build and scale a high performing sales team as the pipeline builds and scales.

Your role will involve:
  • Driving sales growth aligned with the company’s ICP.

  • Working closely with the Head of Brand and Managing Director to integrate sales, marketing, and service efforts, ensuring alignment for maximum impact.

  • Keeping abreast with market trends and adjust the sales strategy to meet evolving business needs.

  • Develop and implement a structured sales process.

  • Build and nurture relationships with potential and existing clients, demonstrating expertise across digital marketing services.

  • Represent the agency at industry events, networking opportunities, and online forums to generate leads and build brand awareness.

  • Continuously improve sales outreach and prospecting techniques to increase deal success.

We need you to have:
  • Digital agency experience, specifically in selling high-value SEO and PPC contracts.

  • Proven success in building and closing deals with businesses in the £5M-£50M revenue range.

  • Strong ability to develop relationships, understand client challenges, and position tailored marketing solutions.

  • A consultative sales approach with the ability to discuss marketing at a high level, particularly SEO and PPC.

  • Leadership potential, with the ambition and capability to build and scale a sales team as the company grows.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations and represent the agency effectively.

  • Extensive experience in enterprise prospecting within the digital marketing landscape, specifically in SEO & PPC.

  • Experience working with operational, profitability, and financial targets.
