Our client is a diverse group of SAAS software brands focused on generating revenue, and demonstrating ROI for their clients. They are an industry leader in insights and a champion of best practice and innovation within the property sector.

As the business embarks on an exciting period of investment and growth they are looking to recruit this new and key Head of Marketing position.

The Head of Marketing will be responsible for the development and execution of all marketing strategies to deliver the organisations vision. You will unify and lead the different marketing teams within the group, ensuring the integration of these plans across all customer touch-points.

A strategic thinker and a leader, as Head of Marketing you will collaborate with the Senior Management Team to define the company's marketing plans and align them with business goals/objectives.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
  • Oversee market research and adjust strategies accordingly to meet any market changes or customer sentiment.
  • Monitor and feedback on competitor products, sales, and marketing activities.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
  • Preparation of marketing activity reports to present to the SMT.
  • Establish and embed a consistent corporate image throughout all product brands, promotional materials, and events.
  • Direct and oversee the company’s marketing budget and forecasting.
  • Lead and mentor the marketing team in executing marketing strategies.
  • Design and monitor team KPIs, ensuring a consistent level of performance from your team.
  • Participate in the development of new project proposals.
  • Being aligned to the product Owners, by providing recommendations on key development opportunities to increase the value and ROI we deliver.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to enhance revenue growth.
  • Oversee digital marketing strategies including SEO/SEM, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
  • Assist in internal communications to develop the internal brand and further embed the corporate image.
  • Take ownership of key industry events to ensure a return on investment is delivered.
  • Ensuring all compliance covenants are upheld.
  • Developing a customer feedback strategy on product enhancements.
  • Being the custodian of our clients Brand guidelines.

About you

  • You will be degree educated in a relevant subject with at least 5 years working within a similar role, with a strong understanding of market dynamics and requirements.
  • Proven leadership and ability to drive marketing teams and programs.
  • Proficient in CRM software and digital analytics tools.
  • Strong budget management skills.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Lead by example and encourage employee and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong and effective communicator, who can manage and operate a business unit, whilst providing detailed reporting and accurate numbers to a board.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to spot emerging trends.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
  • An in depth knowledge of the homeowner and home mover market is preferred.
