We are currently working with a large engineering consultancy. Delivering their professional services to the electrical industry. With over 5 decades of history, this consultancy is looking to bring someone on board to help grow and deliver one of their newest flagship projects.

Objectives

Leading and coordinate multiple project teams, helping to deliver projects on time, within scope and to budget. Holding stakeholder meetings, managing subcontractors, and developing new client relations. On top of this you will be able to adhere, maintain and comply with health and safety legislations, undertaking risk assessments and safety audits.

Essential Skills

  • Formal degree within engineering or town planning.
  • 5+ Years within engineering, with some project management experience.
  • Experience in linear infrastructure planning or development consent order (DCO).
  • Experience designing OHL, cable or substations.
  • Professional chartership.
  • NEC contract knowledge.

Desirable Skills

  • Working consultancy roles within the electrical industry.
  • Current or former experience with DDM.
  • Knowledge and understanding of technology used in order to reliably translate to clients.
  • Strong stakeholder communications skills.
