Are you looking to pursue a challenging yet fulfilling career?LTF Recruitment are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable English Interventions Assistant to deliver an exciting curriculum to students in KS3&4 at our partnered alternative provision based in Derby, DE24. You will be joining a caring and nurturing team whose joint goal is to inspire and encourage disaffected students.

Your duties will include:* Identify KS3&4 students who require intervention.* Deliver a variety of strategies, recording and monitoring progress of and impact of individual students.* Working with the site lead and English Lead to develop the school's English curriculum.* Support staff CPD and the whole academy ethos of encouraging opportunities for reading.* Build positive relationships with both staff and students and be adaptable to work a few different roles.

The ideal candidate will:* Must drive and hold a clean full UK driving license.* English or language-related degree.* Good knowledge of, and experience working with Lexi, BKSB or another English curriculum programme.* Strong interpersonal skills.* Have experience of working with young people that have Social, Emotional or Mental Health difficulties and / or behaviours that challenge.
