A friendly and supportive team environmentYour Role: As a Calibration Engineer / Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of measuring instruments by performing specialist calibration and repair tasks. You will work in compliance with industry standards, supporting operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities:
  • Calibrate measuring instrumentation to National UKAS standards.
  • Maintain and service calibration equipment and facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and company quality procedures.
  • Produce and maintain accurate calibration records and certificates.
  • Develop, review, and audit calibration procedures.
  • Participate in internal and external audits to uphold quality standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and clients.
  • Senior Engineers will mentor and train junior employees.
  • Always follow Health & Safety protocols.
What We’re Looking For:Technician Level:
  •  Ideally from a similar background with some knowledge. No formal qualifications required – full training will be provided!
Engineer Level:
  • A relevant engineering qualification OR significant calibration experience.
  • Strong understanding of calibration principles (both practical & theoretical).
  • Knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
  • Experience with Windows-based and laboratory automation software.
