Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining IT hardware and software at a number of co-working sites across the UK. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused attitude.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and test IT hardware, including computers, servers, networking equipment, and peripherals.

Install and maintenance of Paxton access control

Deploy and configure software, ensuring compatibility with existing systems.

Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, resolving them efficiently.

Provide on-site support and guidance to clients, ensuring smooth installation processes.

Collaborate with team members to design and implement IT solutions based on client requirements.

Conduct routine maintenance and upgrades of IT systems as needed.

Document installation processes, configurations, and client feedback.

Ensure compliance with health and safety standards during installations.

Travel to sites across the UK, sometimes requiring overnight stays.

Management of MS365

Server maintenance and security patching

Knowledge of Paxton access control installation and maintenance.

Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience as an IT Installation Technician or similar role.

Strong knowledge of IT hardware, networking, and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux). Unifi, Zyxel.

Knowledge of Paxton access control installation and maintenance essential

Knowledge of Cathexis CCTV

Familiarity with software deployment tools and troubleshooting techniques.

Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and network diagrams.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel extensively.

Have a strong hands on approach with hand and power tools.

Able to work at hights safely (accessing/maintaining APs, security cameras)

Able to carry out works within a busy environment safely and tidily
