Your new companyHays is working with a well established organisation who are looking for an Accounts Receivable Team Leader to join their busy team. Your new roleAs an AR Team Leader reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will be at the helm of a small, goal-driven team. Your role involves supervising their daily operations, ensuring that all transactional procedures and controls are executed within the agreed KPIs, and fostering a positive team spirit.

  • Monitoring ongoing processes: invoicing, crediting, cash allocation
  • Monitoring of controls and checks
  • Unallocated cash KPI Reporting
  • Overseeing Direct debit collections
  • Complex account reconciliations
  • Bad debt write-off
  • Internal audit
  • Guidance and support to the transactional team
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Implement departmental policies, procedures and quality/service standards.
  • Cover for team sickness and holidays
  • Ensuring month-end deadlines are met
  • Liaising with Management and the wider team with issues/progress/processes
  • Other ad-hoc duties requested by the line manager

What you'll need to succeed

  • At least 3 years AR experience
  • At least 1 year of leading a team
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • A positive can do attitude
