Bennett and Game has the pleasure of working with a top 100 Accountancy Practice located in Derby, who are now seeking an Audit Manager to join them on a full-time, permanent basis. The firm are offering a competitive starting salary along with an excellent benefits scheme.

Audit Manager Job Overview

  • Oversee a portfolio of audit and non-audit clients, managing the entire process from start to finish.
  • Supervise Audit staff on assigned projects, striving to meet targets and ensuring all work meets client expectations
  • Foster a collaborative team environment by coaching and developing staff to reach their potential, aiming to meet or exceed billing and utilisation goals.
  • Collaborate with other Audit Managers to achieve group targets through optimal staff resource allocation across the department.
  • Take line management responsibility for designated Audit staff within the audit team.
  • Manage the Sage, Xero, and other accounting services including offering necessary guidance, support, and training.
  • Work closely with Directors to identify opportunities and provide valuable insights.
  • Assist with various client-specific projects and ad-hoc advisory needs within your portfolio.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships, becoming their trusted advisor for guidance and support.

Audit Manager Job Requirements

  • Proven experience within an Audit Manager role.
  • Worked on a range of different audits and clients
  • ACA/ACCA qualifications.
  • Great management skills, confident in supporting, coaching and developing team members.
