SF Recruitment are pleased to be working in exclusive partnership with a leading high growth organisation based in the South Derbyshire area. My client are the dominant player within their industry, one of the biggest UK-based PLC's and looking to recruit a qualified Finance Business Partner to join their team. The role will report directly to the Senior Finance Business Partner, providing typical financial support as a business partner to one of the most profitable business areas within the group (over 60 cost-centres).
This is a true finance business partner role, suited to an individual with established prior business partnering experience, able to operate in a self-sufficient manner within a key area of the business. As part of the role, you'll need to be able to think on your feet, able to operate in an ever changing and flexible environment with lots of high-level exposure to key senior leaders within the business.
Key duties will include:
- Key point of contact to provide finance support to commercial, sales and operational staff
- Assist in preparation of monthly Management Accounts and reports, preparation of forecasting and annual budgeting processes
- Assist in annual stock revaluation
- Provide accurate, timely, and insightful financial analysis to key stakeholders & senior managers
- Provide financial modelling, scenario analysis and investment appraisal for significant CAPEX projects
- Review and monitor CAPEX expenditure, ensuring accurate reporting and controls
- Lead on business performance discussions, budget reviews and cost management, ensuring financial objectives align with overall business strategy
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify risks and opportunities within the business
- Monitor and challenge costs within operations & finance function to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
- Act as a trusted advisor to regional operations, providing value add financial reports & analysis to support area performance
- Support the Financial Controller and Senior Finance Business Partner with analysis and insight for key decision making
- Support and develop KPI reporting for internal and external requirements
- Support continuous improvement manager in process improvement to increase efficiency and data accuracy
- Provide information and evidence for audit

About you
You will be a fully qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) accountant ideally from large company/PLC background would be an advantage. You will be a self starter and able to hit the ground running, with strong levels of written and numerical literacy.

You will utilise Excel extensively as part of your role, so strong Excel proficiency is a must for this role, as well as ability to travel to various sites across the region on average 2x per month.
