Elevation Senior Finance are delighted to be a fast growing professional services business as they look to recruit a Financial Accounting & Reporting Manager.This is a new position, that has been created following recent PE investment, and a significant growth strategy for the next 3 years.The main purpose of the role will be to have responsible for all month-end reporting for the business.Key tasks will include:
- Leading month-end processes, including:
- Posting of month end journals - Balance sheet reconciliations - Producing monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and cashflow statements for group companies and consolidated group pack - Variance analysis - Setting up and maintaining nominal accounts and cost centres - Franchise and partner practice reconciliation
- Production and submission of quarterly VAT returns
- Assistance with producing the monthly board pack
- Production of rolling weekly cashflow forecast
- Production of monthly payroll report
- Supporting the external statutory and audit
- Support budget holders in developing and maintaining budget and forecast models
- Carrying out project work as and when required
Key skills:
- Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Advanced Excel
- Experience of producing management or statutory accounts from a trial balance
- Experience of external statutory audits
- Financial modelling experience (desirable)
