Alexander Daniels have been exclusively retained by a Private Equity backed, market leading manufacturing business to help them recruit an experienced Group Reporting & Consolidation Manager for their site near DerbyThe Group operates globally, with multiple trading entities throughout the UK. They have plans for further growth organically and through acquisitions and are looking for an ambitious individual who wants to join a thriving business and grow with them.Reporting directly into the CFO, the Group Reporting & Consolidation Manager will play a critical role in managing the group's consolidation and financial reporting process, ensuring compliance with IFRS, and driving process improvements across the organisation. The Group Reporting & Consolidation Managers duties and responsibilities will include:Monthly Reporting

  • Take ownership of the group's multi-currency consolidation process
  • Liaison with reporting entities to ensure an accurate and timely close
  • Ensure integrity and appropriate understanding/analysis of business unit submissions and overall consolidated results
  • Timely and accurate posting of all elimination and necessary consolidation adjustments
  • Preparation of consolidated group accounts and schedules
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly Bank Reports
  • Preparation of the Monthly Financial Review pack for External reporting
  • Liaison with reporting entities to provide guidance on group policy and technical requirements
  • Support the CFO in the development and implementation of best practice and systems across the group

Budgets & Forecasts

  • Consolidation of the Annual Budget and preparation of the group Balance Sheet and Cashflow
  • Preparation of Group Forecasts on a regular basis as required

Statutory Reporting

  • Preparation of Group Consolidated Statutory Financial Statements and UK Legal Entity Statutory Financial Statements

The successful Group Reporting & Consolidation Manager will have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA) with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience
  • Previous experience with multi-currency consolidations
  • Advanced technical knowledge in FRS 102 reporting
  • Must possess excellent organisational and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong sense of commitment and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Superior communication skills with the ability to communicate fluently and concisely across a range of different cultures
  • Excellent Excel skills.
