The General Operative will join a busy precast team based in Somercotes. This is a great opportunity if you are looking for a long term position within an established organisation.A background in concrete, ideally precast is desirable or a construction environment, you will need to be very hands on and confident using tools !Duties include:Installing cast in items into moulds before they have concrete pouredAssist filling moulds with concrete and achieving the standard of finish that is required by our customerAssist in pre-delivery finishing to achieve the required standardsWorking closely with your other colleagues stripping and setting up mouldsRequirementsYou will be subject to a drug & alcohol test prior to startingPrevious experience within precast or constructionAble to measure, use tools and have a hands-on approachWork as part of a team and to strict guidelinesAM & PM Shifts available (8hour days)Hourly rate depending on experienceOwn transport due to location of the sitePlease click apply!
