Sonic Summary
- The General Operative position is available in a busy precast team based in Somercotes.
- Candidates should have previous experience in precast or construction and be comfortable using tools.
- The role involves installing cast items into moulds, filling moulds with concrete, and ensuring quality standards.
- Shifts are available in the AM and PM, with an hourly rate depending on experience.
- Applicants must have their own transport due to the location and will be subject to a drug and alcohol test before starting.
A background in concrete, ideally precast is desirable or a construction environment, you will need to be very hands on and confident using tools !
Duties include:
Installing cast in items into moulds before they have concrete poured
Assist filling moulds with concrete and achieving the standard of finish that is required by our customer
Assist in pre-delivery finishing to achieve the required standards
Working closely with your other colleagues stripping and setting up moulds
Requirements
You will be subject to a drug & alcohol test prior to starting
Previous experience within precast or construction
Able to measure, use tools and have a hands-on approach
Work as part of a team and to strict guidelines
AM & PM Shifts available (8hour days)
Hourly rate depending on experience
Own transport due to location of the site
