Your new companyEstablished in 1999, my client is a customer-focused planning, environment, and design consultancy with extensive experience in adding value to a range of development schemes. They work with various building materials, minerals & waste, commercial and residential clients amongst others.It's an exciting time currently, they are looking for two planners to join the team and support the companies expansion.Their other departments offer various landscape and environmental services that work closely together to give a comprehensive service to their clients.Your new roleAs a planner, you will be working on a variety of residential, commercial, minerals and solar pannel projects, completing tasks such as:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive planning strategies
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
  • Prepare and submit planning applications, including environmental impact assessments and other required documentation.
  • Engage with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project viability.
  • Provide technical advice and support to project teams and clients.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in planning (e.g., RTPI, AICP) is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of planning regulations and policies.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
