Your new companyYou will be joining a high-profile and established main contractor based in Derby operating in the water sector. This multi-accredited organisation has a strong pipeline of work, being Severn Trent's preferred contractor for the delivery of their non-infrastructure works, and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success and significant growth, they are looking to onboard a Project Manager to join their team.

This is a full-time permanent position with hybrid working and flexibility to manage projects closest to home.Your new roleAs Project Manager, you will be based out of their Derby office and be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Overseeing all aspects of project delivery from inception through to completion and handover
  • Creating and maintaining project programmes as well as producing forecasts and procurement schedules
  • Monitoring and reviewing financial and delivery performance
  • Coordinating with subcontractors are client regarding health and safety inspections and audits
  • Liaising with delivery teams and coordinating site activities to ensure project programmes are maintained
  • Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to specified quality.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you must have:

  • Proven successful track record in managing projects from inception through to completion within the water industry
  • Strong understanding of NEC contracts, CDM regulations and health and safety
  • Sound leadership and people management skills
  • Ability to liaise effectively with key project stakeholders at all levels.
  • Full UK driving licence.
