Senior Quantity Surveyor - Water

Your new companyYou will be joining a high-profile main contractor operating in the water industry. This multi-accredited and established organisation has a strong pipeline of work with a major water company in the Midlands region and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team.Your new roleAs Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be based out of their Derby office and be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Provision of accurate cash flow reporting
• Cost management and project forecasting
• Subcontract procurement, negotiation and financial accounting
• Drafting and updating a monthly CVR, cost and commercial plans
• Compiling upstream applications for payment and cash management
• Managing contract and subcontract agreements
• Liaising with key internal and external project stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you will have:

• Degree/HNC in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Sound working knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 suite of contracts
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Full UK driving licence.
