Role: Graphic Designer – Derby    

Salary: up to £32k per annum  DOE

WorkingHours: Monday –Friday 40 hours per week

General overview:

We’re looking for an eager to learn Graphic Designer to manage all group graphic design needs as well as acting as a brand guardian of the group. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this is an exciting role for someone looking for autonomy and variety in their workload. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive and creative environment.

A central role across both companies, the post holder will be responsible for the entire process of defining requirements, visualising and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos across digital and traditional print media. This role will shape the visual aspects of our corporate websites, print collateral, social media, exhibitions and more.

Following and developing our brand guidelines, to promote the business in a positive, interesting and engaging way, this role will be responsible for creating the public ‘face’ of both companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and production of all company catalogues, brochures, literature, case studies and promotional material using InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator, graphics and photography
  • Prepare artwork for print and digital media
  • Stand design and graphics for exhibitions
  • Mixed media design including social media, email, web and sales collateral
  • Digital and printed design, including onsite assets
  • Brand management and development
  • Creation of slide decks for corporate presentations
  • Working closely with the marketing team
  • Management of external resource including video and photography
  • Working to tight deadlines in preparation of graphic design work to support the marketing strategy

Core Competencies

  • Graphic design experience in print and digital
  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as the adobe suite
  • B2B experience
  • Technical or industrial background would be ideal
