We're Looking For:
- Experienced SEN TAs: Proven experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs in primary school settings.
- Knowledge of SEN Strategies: Understanding of various SEN strategies and interventions.
- Behaviour Management Skills: Ability to support positive behaviour and create a conducive learning environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with pupils, teachers, and parents.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to diverse school environments and pupil needs.
- Enhanced DBS Check: Up-to-date Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
- Level 2 or 3 TA Qualifications: Desirable.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to pupils with SEN.
- Implement individual learning plans and support strategies.
- Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
- Assist with behaviour management and create a positive learning atmosphere.
- Observe and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers.
- Support pupils with sensory needs.
- Support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.
