We're Looking For:

  • Experienced SEN TAs: Proven experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs in primary school settings.
  • Knowledge of SEN Strategies: Understanding of various SEN strategies and interventions.
  • Behaviour Management Skills: Ability to support positive behaviour and create a conducive learning environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with pupils, teachers, and parents.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to diverse school environments and pupil needs.
  • Enhanced DBS Check: Up-to-date Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Level 2 or 3 TA Qualifications: Desirable.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to pupils with SEN.
  • Implement individual learning plans and support strategies.
  • Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
  • Assist with behaviour management and create a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Observe and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers.
  • Support pupils with sensory needs.
  • Support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.
