Role: IT Support Engineer
Location: Derby
Salary: Up to 27,000
My client is on the hunt for a highly motivated IT Support Technician who has a passion for IT and excellent communication skills.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee the company's helpdesk portal.
* Deliver 1st Line support for tickets submitted via the helpdesk, phone, instant messaging, or email.
* Coordinate with third-party software and hardware vendors to resolve issues that cannot be addressed internally.
* Track and follow up on outstanding requests to ensure timely resolution.
* Set up user accounts, configure, and install hardware for new hires and manage the offboarding process for leavers.
* Perform general administrative support tasks.
