We are looking for a proactive and organised individual to join our client as an Import Administrator. In this key role, you will help ensure the smooth processing of import shipments and support the import operations team with essential administrative tasks. The successful candidate must be motivated, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the documentation for import shipments, including invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Track and monitor shipments to ensure compliance with all import regulations and company policies.
  • Assist with the preparation of customs declarations and resolve any related queries.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases related to import activities.
  • Provide general administrative support to the import team, including data entry, filing, and responding to queries.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure efficient communication and coordination across the supply chain.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within an import /export or logistics environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and relevant logistics software
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
