Astral Legal have partnered with a leading Financial Services client as they are looking to recruit a Legal Counsel as a number 2 to work with their General Counsel.

You will be joining a small team so high-quality work will be on offer around the following areas

The key duties of a Legal Counsel will be:

Corporate Law - advising on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, investments, company restructuring, shareholder agreements, share plans and options schemes, and other corporate matters.

Commercial Law - draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including supply agreements, partnership arrangements, and service level agreements, provide legal advice and support on data protection and privacy laws, including GDPR compliance and internal data policies.

The ideal Legal Counsel will have 3-4 years PQE experience, candidates from In-House or a top city law firm will be considered.
