Transport First Line Manager - Rotating Shifts

Monday - Friday: /

Pay Rate: £35,255.50 PER ANNUM

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Transport First Line Manager to join our well-established client based in Derby.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering great benefits and an amazing annual salary. This role requires an immediate start and is a permanent position

To be the first point of contact for the Transport Administrators and driving staff.

Day to Day Duties

  • To complete all requested report data fully, accurately and in a timely manner.
  • To oversee,review and conduct HR and incident investigations.
  • To report any incidents to the Transport Manager.
  • To conduct 1-2-1's with direct reports.
  • To positively challenge existing processes.
  • Ensure drivers are following both EU and WTD hours and pass on any relevant information regarding these.
  • To ensure they stay up to date with any legislation changes.

Essential Skills

  • Previous experience of working within transport industry

Desirable Experience

  • Proven experience in customer relationship management.
  • Have managed financial budgets and annual Profit and Loss responsibility.
  • Hold international or national CPC qualification and previous Transport Management experience.
