Assistant Site Manager - Derby

Assistant Site Manager - a growing Regional Construction Contractor is searching for an Assistant Site Manager to join the expanding site delivery team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager to join a Derby based business delivering new build and refurbishment projects from 1m - 5m.

Our client is a privately owned construction firm operating as a main contractor to deliver projects across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.

In this role you will work closely with the Project Managers to manage the new build and refurbishment schemes.

Projects include apartments / multi-room, education, commercial and residential developments - they have a full-order book of work generated by their own in-house development arm alongside several repeat clients.

The position would suit someone working for a main contractor who can play a key role in the success of a growing business - and offers the opportunity to progress as the company enters the next stage of its journey.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee sub-contractors and trades teams on site
- Ensure projects are delivered to programme
- Ensure projects are delivered safely
- Reporting into a Project Manager

Requirements:
- Experience working on construction and / or housing projects
- Experience as an Assistant Site Manager / Site Supervisor
- Experience managing Health & Safety
- Good communication skills

To qualify for the higher rate of pay you must be able to demonstrate a track record delivering multiple construction or housing projects as an Assistant Site Manager or Site Supervisor.
