Overview:Our client is seeking an Ecommerce Executive to support website operations. This is an exciting opportunity for those looking to develop their ecommerce career within a growing and dynamic company.
Role Purpose:This role involves assisting with website management and optimization. You’ll work closely with the Ecommerce Manager to ensure content is maintained, customer experience is enhanced, and performance data is used to drive growth. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing website content, ensuring products, categories, and promotions are displayed optimally.
- Uploading and updating product listings, descriptions, and images to maintain an engaging online catalogue.
- Supporting ecommerce campaigns, promotions, and email marketing.
- Monitoring website performance and user experience, using tools like Google Analytics and Hotjar to identify improvements.
- Analyzing sales, traffic, and conversion data to provide actionable insights.
- Collaborating with internal teams, including marketing and logistics, to ensure smooth operations.
- Assisting with SEO and paid advertising optimization.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Prior ecommerce experience, preferably within retail or a related field.
- Knowledge of ecommerce platforms (Magento and Shopify experience is a plus).
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and Google Analytics.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp is advantageous.
- Ability to troubleshoot, identify issues, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
- A proactive, data-driven approach to ecommerce performance optimization.
