As a Tendering Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting directors in the preparation of winning proposals across a range of business verticals. Drawing on your knowledge of PLC/SCADA control systems and tendering processes, you'll help deliver concise and professional proposals that align with our clients' needs and expectations.

Tendering Engineer - The Role:
- Standard Documentation: Develop and maintain costing and proposal templates to streamline processes
- Lead the creation of tenders for minor projects, including costs, programs, and proposals
- Assist directors in crafting complex, high-value tender submissions
- Collaborative Reporting: Produce monthly and annual sales reports, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness
- Organised Administration: Handle client calls, manage sales documentation, and maintain sales materials such as case studies and testimonials
Tendering Engineer - The Person:
- Educational Background: HNC (or higher) in a related engineering discipline (electrical/electronic/software).
- Experience: 1-3 years in a tendering role
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive team player with the ability to work independently when needed
You will be the face of the business, and will be the first point of contact for all incoming customer queries. The Tendering Engineer will be office based, with day trips out to visit clients as needed.
Located on the Derbyshire border, this role would be commutable from Nottingham, Derby, Ripley and Loughborough.
