Our client is keen to appoint a skilled Logistics Coordinator! You will play a vital role in ensuring seamless operations within the logistics process. Your primary responsibility will involve liaising with drivers to meticulously plan their routes and ensure timely deliveries to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign and manage driver schedules throughout the day, adhering to client requirements.
  • Match drivers to jobs based on their individual availability and locations.
  • Actively search for additional drivers to meet operational demands.
  • Coordinate responses to vehicle breakdowns and other disruptions.
  • Keep the Customer Care team informed of delays, issues or disruptions in service.
  • Oversee and ensure all logistics tasks are accurately planned and allocated within the system.
  • Work closely with the administration team to resolve paperwork discrepancies or queries.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in a similar role is ESSENTIAL.
  • Exposure toTransportation Management Systems (TMS) is a bonus.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Able to work within a reactive environment.
